Foundation Year is a pre-university program designed specifically to assist students to not only meet the entry requirements for university in Australia, but also to prepare them for academic success in their undergraduate studies at Swinburne. Students can apply for this program with their O/Level results and upon successful completion can commence their Swinburne degree in Melbourne, Australia (or with the Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak campus)*.

*Subject to minimum academic requirements

Foundation Year grants fast-tracked entry to their Swinburne degree while preparing them to face the challenging university education structure within a shorter time period.

Alternatively, students can use the Foundation Year programs to gain access to the UniLink higher educational diplomas at NCHS.

Courses

Students will have the option of pursuing Business or Science/Engineering streams with NCHS:

  • Foundation Year (Business)
  • Foundation Year (Science/Engineering)

Destination courses

Upon successful completion of the Swinburne Foundation Year program, students will gain access to the following programs:

  • the first year of a related bachelor degree, subject to minimum academic requirements
  • a related UniLink diploma
