  • The International Foundation Programme is introduced in 2014 by UoL and it is an ideal route to studying any degree from University of London International programmes or those offered by other universities, both in the UK and elsewhere. By successfully completing the programme the students will gain a guaranteed entry on to an LSE-led degree delivered through the University of London International Programmes. The students will also be able to transfer to the CertHE programmes, as they wish. IFP is a full time study programme of which the duration is only one academic year. At RIC lectures for this programme are being held from Monday to Friday. Each study course requires 150 notional hours (lectures hours + self-study).

Here are The Advantages to Studying for an International Foundation Programme (IFP):

  • IFP is equivalent to ‘A’ levels, and students who successfully complete the programme will gain entry to any LSE-directed degrees offered by the University of London International Programme, thus enabling the students to save one year of their academic life.

  • Even though it is a one year foundation programme, it provides students with the required ground work to prepare them for their undergraduate studies.

  • Students planning to pursue their degree(s) in the field of economics, law, accounting, finance, mathematics, management and social sciences and other related fields can be ahead of their peers in the conservative route of A/Ls.

Course Structure for The International Foundation Programme is:

  • 1 compulsory course (Mathematics and Statistics)
