Overview

The Edexcel BTEC Higher National qualifications in Business is designed to equip students with the knowledge, understanding, and skills required for success in current and future employment or for the progression of an undergraduate degree.

These transferable skills will enable students to meet changing circumstances such as a shift in their own sphere of employment, promotion to supervisory or management roles, or from general changes in the corporate sector.

Entry Requirements

  1. G.C.E. A/L three passes or International Foundation in Business or equivalent qualification with an acceptable standard in English.

Course Structure

  1. The HND in Business is provided to students who want to prepare for employment in the related sectors and will be suitable for learners who have already decided that they wish to enter this area of work.
  2. The HND in Business comprises a total of 72 weeks (18 Months). This will consist of four 16 week semesters (4 Months) and two weeks off between each semester. This is based on the AIBS calendar.
  3. The course is studied over a period of 18 months in full-time mode. Units are assessed by assignments that are offered to the students on the 8th week of each module schedule.
